The terms and conditions govern only those services provided by abcdivorce.uk, an independent entity, and no other company or organisation.
The service wishes to state that it is not a government body, agency or department, nor does it purport to be so. ABCDivorce is rather an independent initiative offering customers a facilitative, professional service regarding divorce proceedings. This is well communicated through the service’s platforms, and customers therefore place orders in the knowledge that this is so.
The services on offer and ordered by the customer pertain to divorce and the official routes to divorcing in the UK.
Extenuating circumstances represent those extraordinary occasions on which ABCDivorce will be liable to compensate the customer in the form of a full refund for either misinformation or wrongdoing on the company’s part, or where the customer has been unable to fulfil an order or thereafter cancel one due to the fault of the service. For example, technical issues not resolved hastily by the company.
The shipping policy refers only to those services on offer and advertised thusly at www.abcdivorce.uk, and governs the agreement into which customers enter when choosing a service.
Documents are delivered with Royal Mail by first-class standard. If ABCDivorce specifies estimated delivery times, the service does its utmost to uphold these. Customers are asked to provide a delivery address and location, but shipping times can differ depending on the service chosen and the delivery location given. ABCDivorce always aims to include postage fees when specifying the price of its individual services, and hence the customer agrees to such prices when making an order.
Delivery may also depend on circumstances outside the control of ABCDivorce, such as court and tribunal procedures or other litigation issues influencing proceedings. The service does not and cannot proclaim, nor will it assume, responsibility for such aspects. This is well communicated throughout the platforms used by the customer.
Furthermore, insofar as ABCDivorce does not personally fulfil the physical delivery of its services – for instance the delivery of certain divorce documents necessitating the customer’s signature -, the company hereby states that it cannot assume responsibility for any potential damage to the delivered goods.
The cancellation and refund policy refers only to those services on offer and advertised thusly at www.abcdivorce.uk, and governs the agreement into which customers enter when making a purchase.
ABCDivorce enables customers to choose between the services made explicit in the purchasing process. It hereby states and reiterates that, as per standard procedure, with the fulfilment and passing of 14 days of an order being placed, cancellations are non-refundable. In the event that the customer would like to cancel their order, they are required to contact the customer service team and communicate their intent to cancel as soon as possible. Upon receiving such a request, ABCDivorce’s service team will be able to ascertain whether or not this is possible, according to the time which has elapsed since the order being placed. Part refunds are non-negotiable.
It is the customer’s responsibility to contact ABCDivorce at the support address given in order to communicate their intent to cancel an order. With the passing of the 14-day period following an order, the customer loses their full right to a refund.
The cancellation and refund policies may be superseded only in extenuating circumstances highlighted under the general terms of service. Please refer to and review such exceptions.
